One Child to Another: Letters About The Holocaust Subjects

Brief Description Students read biographies of children who survived the Holocaust and write letters telling how those stories affected them. Objectives Students will

of the Holocaust Lesson Plan Ask students to explore the biographies of Children of the Holocaust. Have each student select one biography and write a letter to that child, telling how the biography affected him or her. Explain to students that they should include specific details about this period in history and about the child's story. Older students might include details about how they think their own lives have been affected by the events of the Holocaust and its aftermath.
