Lesson Plan
Chart Reading Activity
Provide each student with a copy of the Concentration and Death Camps chart. Challenge students to use the chart to complete the chart reading activity and the mapping activity (below) linked to the chart. The chart-reading activity will work well with students in grades 4 and up. Answer Key
Mapping Activity
Challenge students to use atlases and other resources to locate on a map of Europe the locations of the ten concentration and death camps on the Concentration and Death Camps chart. Students might work in small groups to complete this activity.
