Lesson Plan

Link to the lessons at Big River Project 2000. The lessons are under Units on the home page. In this project, students in schools along the Mississippi River learn about the history, human and physical geography, folklore, biology, geology, and botany of the Mississippi River region and its cities, towns, and villages. Students in other areas of the country can use online resources and lessons to research the Mississippi or a river in their own state.
