Brief Description Students read interviews with World War II veterans, then interview family or community members who fought in the war. Objectives Students gain an understanding of World War II and practice research skills as they write and conduct interviews with World War II veterans.Keywords World War II, veterans, interviews Materials Needed Our Veterans Memorial or other print and/or online interviews of World War II veterans Lesson Plan Encourage students to read the interviews at Our Veterans Memorial or in other print and online resources.
