- clean, empty 8 oz. margarine tubs made of thin plastic
- construction paper

- clear nylon fishing line
- 1/2-inch metal washers, eight per student

Lesson Plan
Following the instructions in Father's Day Wind Chimes, students make wind chimes for a father's office, garage, or workshop from plastic margarine tubs and metal washers.
Assessment
Have students share their wind chimes and the reasons they selected each letter and/or picture.
