Create a simple rhyming ABC book with young children or foreign language students. Illustrate the book by hand or with a software drawing program. (Grades K-12)

A Laugh and a Half: Students Make Funny-Poem Mobiles
Students find their favorite funny poems -- and write their own -- to hang from a smile-mobile. Student work sheet provided. (Grades K-8)

Stage a Poetry Slam!
Hold a classroom or school-wide poetry slam. A slam can be held as a fund-raising activity, a parents night event, or just for fun! (Grades 3-12)

Synonym Poetry
Students choose a word -- any word -- think about what it means to them, and build synonym poems around their words! (Grades 3-12)
