Brenda Dyck
Brenda Dyck is a sessional instructor at the University of Alberta, in Edmonton, Alberta (Canada). In addition to teaching preservice teachers, Brenda is the moderator of MiddleTalk, a listserve sponsored by the National Middle School Association (NMSA). Her "HotLinks" column is a regular feature in NMSA's magazine, Middle Ground. Brenda also is a teacher-editor for MidLink magazine.

Miguel Guhlin
As director of instructional technology for a large urban district in Texas, past president of the state-wide Technology Education Coordinators group in one of the largest U.S. technology educator organizations (TCEA), Miguel Guhlin continues to model the use of emerging technologies in schools. You can read his published writing or engage him in conversation via his blog at Around the Corner.

Doug Johnson
Doug Johnson is director of media and technology for the Mankato Public Schools and an adjunct faculty member at Minnesota State University, Mankato. His teaching experience includes work in K-12 schools both here and in Saudi Arabia. He is the author of four books; his articles have appeared in more than forty books and periodicals.

Bernie Poole
Bernie Poole, an associate professor of education and instructional technology at the University of Pittsburgh at Johnstown, Pennsylvania, has been a teacher since 1966. Poole, who developed and maintains with Yvonne Singer the EdIndex, an extensive index of Web resources for teachers and students, also has published several books related to instructional technology.

Nancy Willard
Nancy E. Willard, M.S., J.D. is a former educator and attorney who has focused on youth online risk issues for more than a decade. She is director of the Center for Safe and Responsible Internet Use and author of two books: Cyberbullying and Cyberthreats: Addressing the Challenge of Online Social Cruelty, Threats, and Distress and Cyber-Safe Kids, Cyber-Savvy Teens: Helping Young People Use the Internet Safely and Responsibly (forthcoming, Jossey-Bass).
