Overview: Students work in small groups to research the history of Halloween and learn how various countries celebrate the holiday. Groups use the information to write reports about the origins of Halloween and to create collages highlighting Halloween observances in other cultures. Then, each group presents its completed projects to the class. When the projects are completed, students assume the roles of caterer, disc jockey, game master, and costume designer and plan a class Halloween party.
