King Tutankhamun: Was It Murder?

Brief Description

This WebQuest is designed to engage students in Internet research while learning about the history of ancient Egypt. Students will read, take notes, and answer questions about a linked site. They share this information with their cooperative group and develop an essay or modify to create a PowerPoint about the results of their investigation.

Objectives

Students will recognize and investigate problems; formulate and propose solutions supported by reason and evidence; express and interpret information and ideas; use appropriate instruments, electronic equipment, computers and networks to access information, process ideas and communicate results; learn and contribute productively as individuals and as members of groups; make inferences about historical events and eras using historical maps and other historical sources; identify the difference between historical fact and interpretation.
