CONTENT:
Biology students at Texas Wesleyan University developed this site of "images and information about animals at the Fort Worth Zoo.
AESTHETICS:
The site is colorful with a variety of backgrounds, great photographs, and some pretty nifty Java applets. The Shockwave plug-in is needed for the puzzles.
ORGANIZATION:
Users will find animals grouped into five broad categories that have links on the index page. Each group is further divided into sub-groups. Internal pages have links back to the home page and the index.
REVIEW:
WhoZoo was launched in 1998 by biology students at Texas Wesleyan University and has been updated each semester since. Each animal page includes pictures of the actual animals at the Fort Worth Zoo, description, general information, and special features. Users can access the Image Gallery to view tons of great animal photographs. Also included are student Research Articles, WhoZoo postcards, interactive puzzles, and links to other zoo sites.
