Reading Rockets
Huge site offers a wealth of information for helping young children learn to read.

CONTENT:
The Reading Rockets Web site offers many resources on helping young children learn to read. It includes articles, lists of recommended books, interviews with authors and illustrators, and more.
AESTHETICS:
This is a visually pleasing site. Pastel colors with contrasting text make the information easy to read.
ORGANIZATION:
The design of Reading Rockets allows for easy navigation. The site provides a top navigation bar, as well as a side menu. A site map and a search tool are also available.
REVIEW:
The Reading Rockets project was funded by a major grant from the U.S. Department of Education. Designed to be a resource for parents, teachers, principals, and librarians, the site includes sections catered to each of these audiences. The site's features include reading guides, parent guides, tips for teaching reading, book lists, author interviews, and much more.
