Kids-R-Crafty
Practical site for hands-on learning offers printable activities and work sheets.
Grade Level: PreK-2

http://www.kidsrcrafty.com

CONTENT:
Kids-R-Crafty offers a variety of printable activities and work sheets. In addition, directions are available for some craft ideas for children.
AESTHETICS:
The site is easy to read. Banner ads on the top of each page are somewhat distracting.
ORGANIZATION:
The welcome page of Kids-R-Crafty has a side navigation area that links to each type of activity in English and French. Each activity page features buttons for easy access to other areas.
REVIEW:
Kids-R-Crafty provides parents and teachers of young children with a collection of printable work sheets and activity ideas for kids. Work sheets include mazes, dot-to-dots, handwriting exercises, and coloring sheets. The Activity section features Code Challenges (number codes), word puzzles, and an interesting page called Potions that offers fun and slimy (and messy, no doubt) recipes inspired by the Harry Potter craze. The page lists a number of "must have" ingredients for children to create their own magic potions. Additional resources on these pages include alphabet work sheets and pictures, vocabulary pages with pictures and words in both English and French, and holiday theme work sheets. Actual craft ideas on the site are limited, but the other activities available provide numerous resources for use with young children.
