The site is designed with the same imagination and flair that make
Roald Dahl’s work so engaging. Sound, animation and colorful
graphics are sure to attract the younger set. Links are clearly marked
on the main page and the “Glass Elevator” in the upper
left corner of the page is a drop down navigation menu. Macromedia

REVIEW:
This site is informative for teachers who use the Roald Dahl books
in the classroom and engaging for the students who love his work.
The biographical information is extensive and includes a photo gallery
and audio of an interview with the writer. Teachers will also find
resources for using Dahl’s books in the classroom including
lesson plan ideas, classroom activities based on the books, ideas
from other teachers and more. All sorts of interactive activities
are available for students including games based on incidents in
familiar books, a monthly poll, the latest news and postcards to
send to friends. The “Works” section provides visitors
the opportunity to search for a particular work such as James and
the Giant Peach or Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and find a
synopsis of the story, reader reviews and a chance to add their
own review.
