REVIEW:
Bring the excitement of real-life science application into your classroom with Satellite Tracking. Students can use a number of tracking tools to explore the paths of hundreds of satellites and other objects in space. Using J-Track, the tracker used by remote scientists to keep up with the missions, students or any interested party can locate the International Space Station, the Chandra X-Ray Observatory, and Hubble Space Telescope, as well as weather satellites and others. J-Track 3D shows 700 satellites, out of thousands, swarming about our earth. You can rotate the display and modify all kinds of settings. The display will also zoom in and out. The J-Pass tracker allows users to enter their zip code or latitude and longitude to see upcoming satellite passes for their area. They can even choose to have the J-Pass email them when and where to look. Included are live, 3D tracking snapshots that are updated every minute for those who do not have Java enabled in their browsers.
