http://www.curriki.org

CONTENT:
Curriki, short for curriculum and wiki, is a Web site allowing users to add, modify and critique educational materials that students, parents, and teachers can access and use from anywhere in the world for free.
SITE DESIGN:
The site is built on open source technology, a Wiki, which allows users to participate in the development of the online educational community. Registration is required for full participation but it is free to anyone. Resources at the site can be searched by keyword or browsed by subject area.

REVIEW:
Curriki makes educational content available to parents, students, and teachers for free. These learning resources and curricula are developed by a community of educators, learners and education experts, are universally accessible and expand educational opportunities to anyone around the world. The initial focus is on K-12 curricula in the areas of mathematics, science, technology, reading and language arts, and languages. The ever growing collection includes lessons, assessments, resources and textbooks. For example, users will find free high school science texts for grades 10-12, online algebra, calculus and physics courses from The National Repository of Online Courses (NROC), and digital stories to raise awareness of key issues in various countries from the Tapestry Project. A re-launch of the site is planned for the near future that will incorporate even more tools, resources and interfaces.
