	CONTENT: The National Institute for Early Education Research (NIEER) supports early childhood education initiatives by providing objective, nonpartisan information based on research.
	SITE DESIGN: The site has an easy to follow navigation system with tabbed links to the main areas at the top of the front page. The tabs expand to drop down menus for moving quickly to the information wanted and internal pages have a left side menu.
	REVIEW: The National Institute for Early Education Research Web (NIEER) site offers journalists, policy makers, researchers, and educators information and resources for making informed decisions about early childhood education initiatives. “The goal of NIEER is to produce and communicate the knowledge base required to ensure that every American child can receive a good education at ages three and four.” To that end, the site offers information on the status of early education access and quality, exemplary practices and policies, and public opinion. Visitors will find the latest research on assessment, finance and economics, English language learners and state programs, as well as policy briefs and facts, online reports, hot topics, fast facts, an expert database, interactive data sets, the state yearbook, and much more.
