REVIEW
ME:TAL offers teachers and students many free resources for learning about mathematics for economics. The meat of the site is the resource section that is divided into four categories: video streaming and downloads, teaching and learning guides, question bank, and case studies. There are five video units covering ten units of study that use streaming video and animation to relate mathematical concepts to the field of economics. The question bank contains files for algebra, economics, integration, matrices, numbers, coordinate geometry and differentiation that can be used in diagnostic testing, tutorials, problem sheets, and assessment. The ten teaching and learning guides provide an extensive bank of teaching activities covering all aspects of mathematics for economics. And the case studies put mathematical problems into a real world context.
