Cute, colorful cartoons focus on the subject of safety through interactive games. Java applets and large graphics are slow to load but worth the wait.

The child-friendly organization uses picture links to other areas of the site. Set in frames, the links remain visible on the left as users navigate.

REVIEW:
Let Kidd Safety, the tour guide for the Consumer Product Safety Commission's Web site, take you on a tour of Cranium Canyon to learn about bike helmet safety. In the Kid Zone, visitors can take the Canyon Adventure, send a Canyon E-Card, state Your Opinion or test their HQ (Helmet Quotient). Interactive games and word searches throughout the site teach important safety messages in a fun way. For instance, after visiting the house and finding the safety hazards there, users can play a concentration-style game with pictures of the hazards. Each time a player makes a match, he or she receives a safety rule for that particular safety violation.
