http://www.pianonanny.com
GRADE LEVEL: All
Written By: Hazel Jobe

CONTENT:
The Art Department, composer and musician Clinton Clark, and JTM Multimedia, Inc. offer free Internet piano lessons.

AESTHETICS:
This site has few graphics, so it loads quickly. Users will need a Java-enhanced browser and plug-ins for the audio to fully enjoy the pages. All can be downloaded from the site.

ORGANIZATION:
This well-organized site is easy to navigate. Lesson titles are arranged from easiest to more difficult in a simple table. Navigating from page to page through the lessons is accomplished with an easy to follow navigation bar at the bottom of each page.

REVIEW:
Have you ever wished you could learn to read music or play the piano but just couldn't find the time for all those lessons? Piano on the Net may be just what you need. With Internet access, a keyboard, and this online tutorial by professional composer and musician Clinton Clark, you'll be tickling the ivories in no time at all. Best of all, its free! Users can explore the different styles of music by listening to selections from this composer as well as progress through the lessons from starter to intermediate to advanced. This is a great resource for the music teacher who wants students to practice at home or the parent of the reluctant student who would rather spend time on the computer than practicing the piano.
