REVIEW:
The School-Home Links Reading Kits are designed to help parents and schools improve reading and literacy skills. They are designed to be used with the Compact for Reading Handbook, which is available on the site. The program is intended for grade levels K through 3 and includes activities that are developmentally appropriate for each level. Each kit contains 100 activities that can be downloaded individually from the site, or the entire collection can be downloaded as pdf files using Adobe Acrobat. These kits and the companion Web site are a joint publication of the U.S. Department of Education, the Corporation for National Service, the Los Angeles Times, and Little Planet Learning. |
