BBC Online: Kids Health
http://www.bbc.co.uk/health/kids/
GRADE LEVEL: 3-8

CONTENT:
This site from BBC Online presents information on the health of the body and the mind in terms kids will understand.
AESTHETICS:
The site is attractive and colorful. It uses Shockwave to take users on a tour of the body.
ORGANIZATION:
The site is divided into two main sections: Body Matters and Mind Matters. Users can easily navigate this site from the main page menu, and each internal page has a link back to the home page.
REVIEW:
This is a great site for learning about physical health or emotional well-being. Body Matters includes detailed information on the body and how the body works, advice on how to take care of your body (Do's and Don'ts), and a Body Tour. The tour has four parts that covers the body, muscles, organs, and skeleton. Mind Matters discusses worries that children have such as friends, school, changes and loss, ways to think positively, and activity sheets that deal with emotions.
