The front page of this portion of the United States Treasury Department's Web site looks like it has information for young students. The graphics and
layout cater to a younger audience. The information here, however, is more suitable for older and high school students. Viewers will find links to the U.S. Mint, the Treasury Department, and the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. Users can learn about savings bonds, the history of money, and counterfeiting. This site could be used by math teachers for some lessons in finance and interest. Other teachers could supplement a lesson on the government or economics with some of the information found here. Educators should look over the site and pick from different categories to decide which information will be useful for them.
