Enterprise Education is about "helping young people make things happen, be creative and find opportunities for
themselves. This Web site supports this purpose, and also supports teachers developing enterprising attributes in students."

AESTHETICS:
The Web site uses frames, which are displayed in a professional, clean layout. The database uses colored tabs to separate categories.
Most of the site is text. Some graphics are scattered throughout the site for enhancement.

ORGANIZATION:
Each page displays a menu on the left-side bar. Viewers must use their back buttons on their browsers to return to a prior page.
The header at the top of each page changes with each section so users know which part of the site they are viewing.

REVIEW:
This site has been developed with the support of the Department of Employment, Education, Training and Youth Affairs of the Australian Government. Enterprise Education's goal is to provide a learning arena in which students become excited and ready to create, and successfully manage, real-life opportunities. The program prepares young people to actively deal with a changing world and a changing labor market. It enables them to be creative and flexible, and to be able to solve problems. One focus of the program is "multi-skilling," the ability of individuals to move easily from one job to another. This project is similar to vocational education projects in the United States. The site presents some similar topics, but also some different ideas on vocational education. Viewers can search the database to find specific information. "Alternative" educators will enjoy reading the archived and online newsletter.
