REVIEW:
This is an exhibit produced by the Library of Congress, and is a very thorough and useful essay on African American History. There is introductory text explaining the contents of this site, and other chapters and sub-chapters such as “Colonization”, “Abolition”, “Migration”, and “Work Projects Administration”. The site is packed with both low and high resolution scans of historical documents in each area. This is a comprehensive site that relates African American history with a manageable chunk of data that teachers will find very useful.
