CONTENT:
This site has basic information on all periods of American History taken directly from "An Outline of American History" distributed by the United States Information Agency.

AESTHETICS:
The background color is very light and makes the text easy to read. The links are in a numbered list and spaced appropriately making them easy to read. Minimal, appropriate graphics.

ORGANIZATION:
Each period is broken into a separate chapter link and each of those links is broken down further still with its own graphic head to identify it.

REVIEW:
Once you choose a period the information is right at hand. Each link after the initial one brings you to paragraphs of text with a background of the time in history you selected. Some of the information contains additional links for additional information or explanation of terms. The site does not go into much detail, mainly because of the amount of information it contains, but is a great general source for getting your American History straight.
