Gifted Children.Com
http://www.gifted-children.com/
GRADE LEVEL: Parents & Professionals

B CONTENT:
The Gifted Children.com Web site was designed to allow parents, students and educators concerned with issues regarding gifted children to communicate and have access to resources.

B AESTHETICS:
The site is text-oriented and resembles a newsletter format. Articles use small print and minimal graphics.

B+ ORGANIZATION:
An extensive navigation menu listing each section of the site is available on each page.

REVIEW:
Much of this Web site is only available to members (membership is US $10/yr) so a lot of the information can not be reviewed. Some of the site is accessible to everyone so users can get an idea of what the site is about. Sample articles are on the front page and a list of archived article topics can be found on the archive page. Both the "News" and "What's New" areas are accessible so users can read updated information. This looks like a good site for anyone concerned with students with special abilities. The site offers a special deal; parents can sign up one teacher free with their paid membership. It may be worthwhile to look over the site for potential resources.
