Cool School of the Week: May 30, 2006
St. Joseph High School - Westchester, Illinois
www.stjoeshs.org
The St. Joseph High School Web site is coordinated by library media specialist Paul Hurt in collaboration with the
entire St. Joseph High School community. "Collaboration, communication, and ongoing assessment by our constituents
result in a Web site that serves students, parents, faculty, and outside interests in not only providing information
but in experiencing the uniqueness of St. Joseph H.S.," reports Mr. Hurt.
This Catholic school prides itself on being "the premiere all laptop learning high school," and certainly
this site reflects an emphasis on technology. The site is easy to navigate, with a top navigation presenting main
channels and a left navigation for locating resources within each channel. The color scheme is consistent throughout
and judicious use of animations and photographs keep the visual impression varied and engaging.
All in all, this is a strong site!
Congratulations, St. Joseph... You are a COOL SCHOOL!
