Education on the Web?
Education-World.com has it down to an Art…
and a Science… and a Social Science…

(Oklahoma City, Ok) - Education World, the world's best education resource on the web (FamilyPC), is making the best even better in 2000.

Education-World.com launched their "Subject Centers" section on January 14 with a section devoted to social sciences. This section provides all the tools educators need to successfully teach, or develop, a social science curriculum.

On the main page, users will find a Teaching Matrix of social sciences sub-topics (broken out into easily accessible tools, lessons, themes, and standards), the Social Sciences Message Board, Weekly Poll Question, and Parents Resources. Convenient links to other related areas on the Education World web site are also provided.

The Subject Centers section provides "one-stop shopping" for educators seeking out information devoted to a specific subject. Centers for History, Science, Technology, Math, Language and Literature, The Arts, and PE & Health will be added throughout first quarter 2000.

Education World, based in Oklahoma City, is the Internet's largest education-specific search engine, linking to over 120,000 education-related sites. The search engine is appropriate for all ages and searchable by subject or grade level. The site also offers weekly original content - lesson planning activities, curriculum ideas, education site reviews, worldwide education employment listings, forums, education news and many other features to assist the education community online. Visit http:/www.education-world.com for more information.
