The Journey North
The Journey North is an outstanding collaborative Internet project that involves classrooms in the study of wildlife migration and the changes to the environment as spring moves north across Mexico, the United States, and Canada. This site includes information about sea turtle species, biology, habitat, and migration patterns. Teachers can send away for a free Educator's Guide to the site, which includes lesson plans and activities. Classrooms can adopt a turtle and keep track of its movements using satellite tracking information found on the site.
